Some people, me included, can’t always play on a Sunday. This means we miss out on playing in the main club competitions. Is there any chance that for some of the competitions, maybe the monthly Medal, players on a Saturday could choose to enter into the Medal? Obviously there would have to be some control over people not having the ability to play both days and enter their best card, but with a little bit of organisation, could it be arranged? Can I add my support to the comments of Keith Stinchcombe on the comments pages (11/10/10) concerning the lack of competitions on Saturdays. I paid full membership on moving from Oxted in order to be able to play in weekend competitions as well as Hoggs in the week. At my last club the weekend medals and Stablefords alternated between Saturday and Sunday so that I could play in the Saturday ones. I am busy every Sunday and for some people it is the other way round.) Regards David Parr 03/11/10
